Kyle Wellwood Hockey Rumours

According to Andy Strickland's tweet, Kyle Wellwood is returning to the NHL. Drafted by the Maple Leafs in 2001, Wellwood never had great success. He seemed to have some decent moves but could never put them together to contribute offensively or be sound defensively. He was traded to the Canucks where he scored 25 points in 75 games in the 2009-2010 NHL season.
Rumor has it the St Louis Blues are picking him up. The Blues traded for several ex-Maple Leafs with Boyes, Colaiacovo and Steen currently on their team. Wellwood is coming from the KHL so he has to clear waivers. The Nashville Predators are also interested in Wellwood.
