Adrian Aucoin Trade Rumors

Trade rumors continue to surround the Phoenix Coyotes for the 2011 NHL season.  The Coyotes are 5th in the Western Conference with 67 points due in large part to their All-Star defenceman Keith Yandle. Yandle is putting up Norris Trophy numbers and leads all defencemen in points.

Phoenix has a good supply of quality defensemen and many prospects are ready to take a role in the NHL.  In order for their prospects to get playing time, they need to make some roster space.  Adrian Aucoin seems like the odd player out.

Aucoin has played for many teams in the past including the Vancouver Canucks, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Calgary Flames.  These NHL teams are interested in re-acquiring him.  Aucoin is showing he can play quality minutes.  Look for Aucoin to be moved before the trade deadline.
