Jason Blake Trade Rumors

Trade rumors continue to surround the Anaheim Ducks for the 2011 NHL season.  The Ducks are 7th in the Western Conference with 66 points in a fight for their playoff lives.  Players like Jonas Hiller, Corey Perry, and Lubomir Visnovsky are having break-out seasons for the Ducks.

GM Murray has recently traded Joffrey Lupul to the Maple Leafs in return for defenseman Francois Beauchemin.  Jason Blake is the next under-performing forward on the chopping block for the Ducks. Blake has 21 points in 54 games played.

There are several teams looking for that top six forward to add to their lineups.  Blake has had several recent poor seasons and has a low trade value.  Murray is trying to move him but it will be hard to get any takers before the NHL trade deadline.
