Brent Burns Trade Rumors

Trade rumors continue to surround the Minnesota Wild for the 2011 NHL offseason. The Wild finished 12th in the Western Conference. The team is looking to replace the scoring up front when they traded Marian Gaborik.
Brent Burns is coming off a career year with 46 pts, the most by any Wild defenseman in their history. With a salary below $4 million, Burns is being pursued by many teams such as the Edmonton Oilers, Columbus Blue Jackets and New Jersey Devils. The Wild are looking to trade Burns for that much needed scoring help up front.
