Derek Boogaard Dies of Drugs and Alcohol

Derek Boogaard, a 28 year old left wing enforcer for the New York Rangers was found dead in his Minnesota apartment recently. The medical examiner's office released the cause of death, ruling the death accidental and attributing death to a mixture of drugs and alcohol. Specifically, a mixture of alcohol and oxycodone toxicity was the reported cause of death. Oxycodone is a painkiller. RIP Derek Boogaard, one of the NHL's best enforcers.
