The trade rumors concerning Kyle Okposo ended today when the New York Islanders signed Okposo to a 5 year deal. The contract is worth $2.8 million per year. In the 2010-2011 NHL season, the young forward was injured with a shoulder injury. Two years ago, he scored 19 goals, so he can easily be a 25 goal scorer. He is one of the best players with the puck along the boards and he is solid in both zones. The future looks bright for the Islanders in the 2011-2012 NHL season.
