Red Wings and Maple Leafs Fight Over More Coaches
The Detroit Red Wings are still licking their wounds from the loss of their head coach, Mike Babcock, to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Adding more fuel to the fire, the Maple Leafs want to poach Tony Granato as well from the Red Wings.
Granato served as Babcock's assistant coach last season in Detroit. The Red Wings are not pleased about losing another coach and want to retain Tony Granato's services. The Maple Leafs are also interested in poaching another assistant coach of Babcock's, Jim Hiller.
