Russian superstar return to NHL
Alexander Radulov wants to come back to the NHL for the 2016-17 season. Radulov last played in the NHL in 2012 when he came back to join the Nashville Predators late in the season. His comeback to the NHL was short-lived because the Preds suspended him and Andrei Kostitsyn for violating a curfew.
Radulov bounced back to the KHL that summer after his short return to the NHL. The Russian winger, who is 29 years old, had the best season of his career in the KHL in 2014-15. He led the league with 71 points in 46 games.
Radulov would be 30 years old when joining the NHL for the third time, and this time he would be a free agent and could join any team. He wants to play for a contender because he sees this as his last opportunity to win a Stanley Cup.
