Colorado Avalanche defenseman on the trade market

Trade rumors surround Tyson Barrie of the Colorado Avalanche. He may be moved soon if he doesn't agree on a new contract.

The 24 year old defenseman is on his last season of a 2 year $5.2M contract. If he doesn't agree to a contract extension he will become a free agent. He has accumulated 10 assists in 14 games this season.

A 3rd round draft pick by the Avs in 2009 (64th overall), Barrie played a total of 200 games in the NHL and registered 114 points with 27 of them being goals.
