BREAKING: Blockbuster Trade Between New Jersey and Edmonton

The New Jersey Devils traded defenseman Adam Larsson to the Edmonton Oilers for left winger Taylor Hall.



Larsson is a top pairing right-shot defenseman the Oilers needed. He will see increased pressure in Edmonton. Hall is one of the best left wingers in the NHL.

Hall ranks third over the last four seasons in points per hour at even strength. Only Jamie Benn and Sidney Crosby score at a higher rate. By contrast, Larsson is still developing into a reliable top pairing defenseman.
