NHL Rumors: Andrew Ladd to New York Islanders
The New York Islanders hosted unrestricted free agent Andrew Ladd today. Ladd wants to play for a Stanley Cup contender.
With Kyle Okposo set to hit free agency, Islanders GM Garth Snow is looking for a replacement. The Islanders have over $15 million in cap space available to spend this offseason.
The 30 year old left winger scored 46 points between the Winnipeg Jets and Chicago Blackhawks last season. His last contract had a cap hit of $4.4 million so it's likely he wants a new contract with a $5 million annual average salary.
