Edmonton Oilers sign Jesse Puljujarvi for 3 years
The Edmonton Oilers signed Jesse Puljujarvi, the fourth-overall pick at the 2016 NHL draft, to a three-year entry level contract.
Puljujarvi spent last season with the Finnish Elite League's Oulu Karpat, scoring 13 goals and 15 assists in 50 games. He also tallied 9 points in 10 playoff games.
The winger represented his country most recently at the 2016 World Junior Hockey Championship, leading the tournament in scoring with 17 points in 7 games, helping Finland capture a gold medal.
