Video: Nazem Kadri vicious hit to the head on Daniel Sedin

With the Toronto Maple Leafs in the midst of a rout over the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday, Nazem Kadri got carried away with back-checking. Kadri ended up delivering a huge hit to the head of Daniel Sedin and was ejected from the game. You can see Sedin’s head striking the ice as he fell without his helmet.



Kadri was given a five minute major for a hit to the head and a 10 minute game misconduct. He was tossed from the game. The NHL Department of Player Safety will look at the hit, and Kadri’s status as a repeat offender may increase the length of his suspension.
