NHL Trade Rumors: Patrick Sharp to Chicago Blackhawks
The Chicago Blackhawks are going to add a depth player before the 2017 NHL Trade Deadline. Rumors are circulating about Hawks GM Stan Bowman's next move.
The Hawks are rumored to be interested in Leafs James van Riemsdyk, Avalanche Gabriel Landeskog or Matt Duchene and the Coyotes Martin Hanzal. But could the answer be a forward, who helped the Hawks raise the Stanley Cup once previously?
NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman said that the Hawks could be interested in former Blackhawk Patrick Sharp to help them on the wing. Sharp has accumulated four goals and five assists in 20 games with the Dallas Stars this season. He scored 20 goals in 76 games with the Stars last season.
The 35 year old becomes an unrestricted free agent in the summer and could be acquired in a similar fashion to how Andrew Ladd was last season. Do you think Patrick Sharp would fit in well on Jonathan Toews wing?
