NHL Trade Rumors: Two teams inquiring about Sedins at full value
The Vancouver Canucks have struggled this season, fueling much speculation about trades. Daniel and Henrik Sedin have played for the Canucks their entire careers, and it may be time for a new beginning.
According to sources, there are two teams, which are willing to acquire the Sedins for their full combined salary cap hit of $14 million until the end of 2017-18 season. If the Canucks retain some of that cap hit, more teams would be interested. The 36 year old Sedins have a say in whether or not they get traded anywhere because they have No Movement Clauses.
In addition to the Sedin twins, the Canucks might move veterans such as Ryan Miller, Alex Edler, and Alexandre Burrows before the March 1, 2017 NHL trade deadline or in the offseason.
