Monster Trade Rumor Involving Bruins Zdeno Chara

The Boston Bruins are taking calls on their behemoth defenseman Zdeno Chara. According to reporter Jimmy Murphy, two NHL teams are interested in acquiring Chara.

The 39 year old veteran might waive his no-trade clause in order to join a contender. Chara has one more season left on his contract, with a cap hit of close to $7 million for this season, and $4 million for next.

The Los Angeles Kings and the Chicago Blackhawks are in a bidding war for Zdeno Chara.
