NHL Trade Rumors: Curtis Lazar for Jake Virtanen
The Ottawa Senators are shopping forward Curtis Lazar. After the Senators acquisition of Tommy Wingels, Lazar was healthy scratched four out of seven games.
The Ottawa Sun reports that Lazar's agent, J.P. Barry, scheduled a meeting with Senators general manager Pierre Dorion to discuss the future of his client. The meeting will take place in Toronto on Saturday, when the Senators face the Toronto Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre.
Lazar was a 17th overall pick in the 2013 Draft. He only has tallied one point in 29 games this season. The Vancouver Canucks are offering Jake Virtanen for Curtis Lazar. Virtanen has nine points in 37 AHL games this season.
