Video: Corey Crawford takes Shea Weber shot off the head
Montreal Canadiens defenseman Shea Weber is well known for his hard shot, which has injured many players. On Monday night, Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford was hammered in the head by a Weber one-timer.
Crawford was shaken up, and the officials stopped the play to make sure he was okay. He chose to remain in the game despite looking dazed. Some are questioning whether the goalie should have been removed from play and examined by team doctors in the back.
Weber has won the last three all-star hardest shot competitions. He recently hit 102.8 mph at the 2017 NHL All-Star Game in Los Angeles and has been clocked as fast as 108.5 mph, which he hit in the 2015 NHL All-Star Game.
