Pittsburgh Penguins fan stabbed in the head refuses medical treatment until game is over
A Pittsburgh Penguins fan stabbed in the head with a screwdriver during the Penguins playoff opener against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday night refused medical attention until the game was over.
According to a report from The Guardian, a 43 year old man engaged in a verbal altercation with a 25 year old man. The conflict escalated and the younger male stabbed the older in the head with a screwdriver.
The victim refused treatment for his laceration from paramedics on the scene, stating he would drive himself to the hospital after the game. The victim ended up driving himself to the hospital at 10:17pm local time when the game ended.
