Monster Trade Rumor Involving Nino Niederreiter and Mikael Granlund

The Minnesota Wild are getting calls about the availability of Nino Niederreiter and Mikael Granlund. Both forwards are restricted free agents this summer and the Wild cannot afford to pay them the huge raises they will demand.

The Wild have about $11 million in cap space available, and have 8 players to sign. The Wild also have to worry about losing a good forward or defenseman to the Vegas Golden Knights in the upcoming expansion draft.

Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher said he's actively listening on everything. Fletcher is also receiving calls on Matt Dumba, Jonas Brodin and Charlie Coyle.
