NHL Trade Rumors: Evander Kane to Boston Bruins
The Buffalo Sabres are listening to offers for forward Evander Kane, who has been the subject of much controversy over his NHL career.
Kane was charged with several harassment charges, and trespassing in July 2016 following a June incident at a city of Buffalo nightclub. He pleaded not guilty to the charges. In October 2016, a judge granted Kane adjournment in contemplation of dismissal, meaning that the charges would be dropped if Kane stayed out of trouble for six months.
Despite his controversial past, there are teams interested in acquiring him.
The Boston Bruins are reportedly "very much in the mix" for Kane. The Vancouver Canucks are another team in the mix. It's unclear what Sabres general manager Jason Botterill is seeking in return for Evander Kane.
