Breaking: Four Upcoming NHL Expansion Draft Trades Revealed
The Vegas Golden Knights have already made deals with the New York Islanders, Chicago Blackhawks, Anaheim Ducks, and Columbus Blue Jackets, according to sources.
The New York Islanders are trading their first-round pick for the Golden Knights to select Nikolay Kulemin. The Islanders will also be sending injured Mikhail Grabovski to the Golden Knights in the deal. The Chicago Blackhawks are trading Trevor van Riemsdyk for the Golden Knights to select Marcus Kruger.
The Ducks are trading a young defenseman for the Golden Knights not to select Sami Vatanen and Josh Manson. The Columbus Blue Jackets are trading their first-round pick 24th overall for the Golden Knights not to select Joonas Korpisalo, Josh Anderson and Jack Johnson.
The Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators, Florida Panthers, Ottawa Senators, and New York Rangers are other teams that may make deals with the Golden Knights to protect their big name exposed players.
