Breaking: David Pastrnak receives multiple offers from KHL
With the Boston Bruins training camp about to start, general manager Don Sweeney and restricted free agent David Pastrnak are still $2 million apart on average annual salary. 21-year-old Pastrnak is considering offers outside the NHL.
According to KHL insider Aivis Kalnins, Pastrnak could be bound for the KHL. Threats of KHL contracts are not new. Torey Krug had an offer from the KHL when he was a holdout with the Bruins in 2014, and Detroit Red Wings’ Andreas Athanasiou was reportedly listening to offers from the KHL this summer.

Pastrnak was second place on the Bruins in both goals (34) and points (70) last season. It would be a huge loss if Pastrnak leaves to the KHL.
