MONSTER TRADE RUMOR: Max Pacioretty to Pittsburgh
We all know that the Montreal Canadiens are struggling so far this season having lost their 5th straight game to the Nashville Predators last night. Sportsnet's duo Nick Kypreos and Elliotte Friedman stated some pretty decent facts.
On Saturday, Nick Kypreos stated that the Montreal Canadiens are expected to do a rebuild and that their captain, Max Pacioretty, is drowning with the Canadiens. No. 67 would likely need a change of scenery. Kypreos made an interesting comparison on that Pacioretty is in the exact same spot Phil Kessel was when he played in Toronto. He also stated that Marc Bergevin could use Pacioretty as trade bait this coming deadline.
Elliotte Friedman has stated in his 31 thoughts segment that the Pittsburgh Penguins should pursue the 30-goal scorer if he becomes available. As the Penguins were reported to be in the sweepstakes to acquire Matt Duchene, who ended finally in Ottawa, are still looking to fill the void on the top lines. Pacioretty may be the guy to answer all of the team's offensive woes as Pittsburgh GM Jim Rutherford is known to make insane trades around the trade deadline.
What should Pittsburgh offer to acquire Pacioretty's services? It's been widely stated that the Montreal Canadiens are looking for a young top defenseman to help with the blue line.
Should the Habs trade Pacioretty
