VIDEO: Penguins goaltender leaves game after crash
During Monday night's game, Pittsburgh Penguins' goaltender Matt Murray was injured after Jakub Voracek crashed into the crease, dislodging the net in the process.
The Flyers-Penguins rivalry is one of the most intense rivalries in the NHL today, and Matt Murray getting injured by the hands of a Flyers player is likely to make things worse. Voracek lost his balance when he tried to make a move to open the scoring sheet against the Penguins and it resulted in him crashing into the net. In the process, Matt Murray's leg was pinned between Voracek and the goal post and that is where he is likely injured.
