Breaking: Chris Kreider diagnosed with serious blood clot
NHL fans had no idea why New York Rangers forward Chris Kreider left the game against the Washington Capitals last night, and did not return. Was he injured? Was he about to be traded? There was speculation the Rangers had a trade in place and wanted to make sure Kreider did not get hurt.
We now know that Kreider was pulled from the game because he was suffering from a serious injury. Kreider has been diagnosed with a blood clot in his right arm, and will be sitting out indefinitely.
