BREAKING: Wings and Sabres make a trade

Well that was short lived...

The Detroit Red Wings have traded 25-year old forward Scott Wilson to the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a 5th round pick in 2019.

This all comes a few weeks after the Red Wings acquired Wilson from Pittsburgh for Riley Sheahan. I suppose he just didn't fit the image of the team and its future.
