Monster Trade Rumor Between Senators and Blues

After an abysmal season, the Ottawa Senators are looking to make a monster trade before the 2018 NHL trade deadline. Lou Korac reports the St. Louis Blues are currently engaged in serious discussions with the Senators.

The Blues are interested in forwards Mike Hoffman or Derick Brassard, and are offering Patrick Berglund, Vladimir Sobotka, or Robby Fabbri in return. The Blues offense needs goal scoring, and both Sens forwards have scored over 16 goals this season. Hoffman is a winger, and Brassard is a center, both are signed for cap hits around $5M.
