BREAKING: Flames Sign Noah Hanifin to a 6-Year Extension

The Flames have finally come to terms with their new defence-man, Noah Hanifin.
The Calgary Flames have signed Hanifin to a 6-year, 29.7 million dollar deal. This carries an AAV of 4.95 million dollars per season.

Hanifin came over to Calgary as part of the massive trade that saw Dougie Hamilton heading to Carolina. Hanifin, the 4th overall pick in 2015, has just finished his 3rd season in the NHL, scoring 10 goals and 32 points in 79 games in 2017-18. Over his short career, he has totalled 18 goals and 83 points in 239 NHL games.
