NHL Trade Rumors: William Nylander for Justin Faulk
The Toronto Maple Leafs are running out of time to sign their star forward, William Nylander. The Leafs face a December 1st deadline to get their 22-year-old right-winger under contract.
With back-to-back 60-point campaigns, it's no surprise many teams are interested in acquiring Nylander. The Maple Leafs want a top 4 defenseman in return. Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos said over a dozen teams are interested with the frontrunners being the Carolina Hurricanes and Los Angeles Kings.
Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas recently visited several NHL cities where the Leafs were not playing to discuss a possible Nylander trade. Dubas was spotted at Friday's game between the Hurricanes and San Jose Sharks. The Hurricanes are believed to be offering right-shot defensemen Justin Faulk or Brett Pesce for William Nylander.
Bruce Garrioch reports the LA Kings are believed to be offering defensemen Jake Muzzin or Alec Martinez for William Nylander. Where do you think Nylander will end up? Comment below.
