Breaking: Salary Cap Set For It's Biggest Jump Ever in 2019-20
Everyone was predicting a slight increase, but this announcement will come as a shock to many.
Salary cap projection for next season is $83 million, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said. Cap this season is $79.5 million. It’s a rough number for next season and can change to go up or down slightly, but the League has been good with these projections in the past.— Dan Rosen (@drosennhl) December 3, 2018
This is huge news for teams facing a cap crunch, such as San Jose, Toronto, Washington, Los Angeles & Pittsburgh to name a few.
$3.5 Million dollars will undoubtedly give most teams that extra wiggle room they need to keep their teams intact.
How will this impact your team?
