Rumor: Andre Burakovsky to Vancouver

After sitting out his third straight game as a healthy scratch against the Buffalo Sabres, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston has stated that Burakovsky may be on his way out and has fallen out of a favor with Capitals head coach Todd Reirden.

The report came during Hockey Night in Canada's Saturday Headlines feature.

His name has been out there on the trade market and the rumor mill. And one of the teams, guys, that I believe have inquired about him is the Vancouver Canucks, Johnston stated.
Even Elliotte Friedman entered the conversation stating that the Capitals aren't interested in future deals and that if they trade Burakovsky, they want someone now that can fill their needs.

Burakovsky becomes a restricted free agent after this season. He has 8 points in 29 games so far.
