Don Cherry rips Elias Pettersson over injury
Vancouver Canucks' star rookie Elias Pettersson got injured in the matchup between the Montreal Canadiens and the Vancouver Canucks after he got tangled up with Montreal Canadiens' Jesperi Kotkaniemi.
Pettersson, 20, is running away as the Calder Trophy winner for this season was already injured once this season after he was choke slammed by Florida Panthers' Mike Matheson. Although Pettersson confirmed during an interview on Sportsnet that his current injury was more scare than harm, Don Cherry ripped the rookie for the injury.
