Monster Trade Rumor: Brayden Schenn to Boston Bruins

According to CLS Media's Jimmy Murphy , the Boston Bruins have called the St. Louis Blues Brayden Schenn. Apparently the Blues offered Tarasenko, but the Bruins are more interested in Schenn due to him being cheaper, his contract his about to run out and he could solve the Bruins' scoring issue with their second line.

Struggling a lot this season, Schenn, 27, has just seven goals and 15 assists thus far this season. With him being still at a young age, the Bruins seem to think it'd be worth to send some of their prospects and even a roster player if needed to acquire the 27 year old.

Murphy believes the some roster players that Boston would be willing to get rid of would be either Danton Heinen or Matt Grzelcyk and maybe Peter Cehlarik who is currently in Providence along with a draft pick(s).

Schenn is a four-time 20-goal scorer, he could help the Bruins plenty as their second line centreman as well as a winger if needed.
