Sergei Bobrovsky has handed in the list of teams whom he'd accept a trade to
According to TSN's Pierre LeBrun, pending unrestricted free agent Sergei Bobrovksy has handed in his list of teams he would agree to be traded to.
Bobrovsky will become a free agent this summer, and the plan appeared to have the Jackets keep the goaltender for a long playoff push. However, with the latest incident that happened between the organization and Bobrovsky, things seemed to have changed, especially if the netminder decides to walk and leave Columbus with nothing.
TSN's Pierre LeBrun believes that Bobrovsky's camp have been waiting at the possibility of a trade to happen. With Bobrovsy having a no trade clause, he would have to send his list of teams to whom he'd accept a trade to, and according to LeBrun, the list has been dressed for a while now. LeBrun revealed that information on Tuesday night's Insider Trading on TSN.
In your opinion, what do you see happening with the Russian goaltender?

We've made a few calls and what we understand is that in fact, this past offseason, [Bobrovsky's] camp not only told the Blue Jackets that Bobrovsky would not sign an extension, but feel free to move him and here's a list of teams that we might waive our no-trade clause if you can work out a deal with them, and perhaps sign an extension, Bobrovsky that is, with that team.
I can tell you this: Jarmo Kekalainen, I believe, has never phoned any of those teams because they made the decision that they want to win with him this year. Let's have a playoff run and then we'll figure things out.It seems as if Kekalainen is between a rock and a hard place when it comes to his star goaltender, he has the choice to either trade him for a good player or another netminder with a couple future considerations or watch Bobrovsky walks for nothing.
