At the end of game 4 of the Magnus League quarterfinals in France, Canadian defender Holden Anderson decided to take matters into his own hands with a vicious MMA style takedown on Bordeaux's Julien Desrosiers, leaving Desrosier unconscious for nearly ten minutes.
The final buzzer had sounded and a scrum ensued, which can be a completely normal to occur during a heated playoff series, but what Anderson decided to do was dangerous and stupid. Desrosiers, as seen in the video was knocked out by the move and is expected to miss the remainder of the playoffs. Anderson has been suspended by his own team.
