Have A Look: Name of new Seattle franchise leaked by Seattle mayor

We all know that the NHL will be welcoming a new expansion franchise in 2021, the name however hasn't be released. Seattle mayor, Jenny Durkan, has leaked the name on Twitter.

#gokraken? Well, this does go with the city's decision to go with something that represents them. The Mariners for Seattle's marine wildlife, the Supersonics due to a Boeing plant being there and the Seahawks for obvious reasons.

Of course, this isn't official, but if it is, what's your thoughts on the organization's decision to go with the Krakens?

Other names that were considered are the Totems, Cougars, Eagles, Emeralds, Evergreens, Firebirds, Rainiers, Renegades, Sea Lions, Seals, Sockeyes, and Whales.
