Oskar Sundqvist slashes Ben Bishop then gets blindsided by John Klingberg

It was a heated affair for game 2 of the second round series in the 2019 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs between the St. Louis Blues and the Dallas Stars. Watch as Blues forward Oskar Sundqvist slashed Stars goaltender Ben Bishop on the leg.



Even though Bishop fell to the ice from the slash, there was no penalty called by the refs on the play. Stars defenseman John Klingberg remembered what happened to his goalie when he skated down the ice and delivered a high shoulder to shoulder hit on Sundqvist.

The Stars beat the Blues 4-2.
