Report: Todd McLellan will be named the head coach of the LA Kings

According to Bob McKenzie of TSN the next head coach of the LA Kings will be Todd McLellan. McLellan last coached the Edmonton Oilers and after some early struggles, was shown the door.


McLellan has coached the Oilers, Sharks and Red Wings, winning a cup with the Wings in 2008 as an Assistant. He now will try and lead the Kings back to the promise land and with an ageing roster and a farm system, it could be easier said than done. Will we see more of this from Todd?
