Report: Vancouver Canucks looking to trade up for draft after another draft let-down

As we've seen from yesterday's draft lottery, the Vancouver Canucks got the 10th overall draft pick in this year's NHL Entry Draft that will be taking place in Vancouver. It's no secret that Vancouver would have rather had a pick between the 1st and 7th and they will be looking to trading up in the draft.

Last night, it was revealed that the Vancouver Canucks would choose 10th in this year's NHL Entry Draft. A somewhat disappointing pick since they had 16% chances for a Top-3 pick since they finished 9th worst record this season and had 5% chances at the first overall pick.

According to many, the Canucks may look to make a splash in front of their hometown fans and will looking to trade up in the draft. Of course their 10th overall will be on the line, along with some decent players, but what position is Vancouver looking for?

We all know that Quinn Hughes' brother, Jack, will be taken in the Top-3 unless there's a major change. According to NHL.com's Mock Draft, the Canucks would select either Kirby Dach of the Saskatoon Blades or Matthew Boldy of the US U-18 NTDP.

The Vancouver Canucks have many prospects they could part ways with. According to chatter, the Canucks would be willing to part ways with defenceman Ben Hutton, Nikolay Goldoblin, netminder Michael DiPietro and even Adam Gaudette along with their 10th overall for any takers in the draft higher than them.

If Vancouver does a trade to draft upwards, which position do you see them taking?
