That's Gotta Hurt: Joe Pavelski opened the scoring with his face

To score in the playoffs, you must be willing to do whatever it takes, including deflecting the puck with your face. Joe Pavelski took a Brent Burns shot right to the kisser and luckily it made it's way past the Flower. Pavelski is known as one of the best 'tippers' in the game, we think he'd much prefer to use his stick, but he'll take it when it counts in the playoffs.


The goal opened the scoring in game one of the Sharks and Golden Knights series. This is one way to keep your head in the game.
