Report: Canucks and Boeser extremely close to multi-year contract extension
According to Sportsnet's Luke Fox, the Vancouver Canucks and Brock Boeser's camp are extremely close to signing a multi-year contract extension.
After having a career year this season, Brock Boeser will be raking in some big bucks as he and the Vancouver Canucks are very close to closing the gaps on a new contract. According to Fox, Boeser is seeking an 8-year extension, but GM Jim Benning is more comfortable in giving him a 6-year extension, the same length as Bo Horvat.
Fox's colleague, Irfaan Gaffar believes that both sides would agree to a 7-year, $7.3 million AAV, which would make Boeser the highest paid player on the roster.
Do you think Boeser is worth what he is asking?
