Just three days after The Boston Bruins eliminated the Columbus Blue Jackets, and punched their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals, unrestricted free agent forward, Matt Duchene went to Twitter and posted a picture that explains him landing in Nashville, Tennessee for a "special visit."
Duchene seems to be on a private plane, to celebrate teammate's Riley Nash's 30th birthday. The odd thing is, Riley Nash is not actually from Nashville, nor has ever played there.
Tennessee state records also have a Matthew Duchene buying a house in Nashville back on November 21, 2018.
This set off rumors about Duchene being dealt to the Predators at the trade deadline.
Now with all the power to chose where he continues his NHL career, Nashville seems to be the place for Duchene to land this summer during free agency.
