BREAKING: Maple Leafs Re-sign a Pair of Forwards

As we inch closer and closer to free agency, on July 1st, the Toronto Maple Leafs have re-signed a couple of notable RFAs.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have agreed on contracts with forwards Kasperi Kapenen and Andreas Johnsson.

Johnsson's contract is 4 years in length, carrying a cap hit of 3.4 million dollars. Kapenen's contract is 3 years, with a cap hit of 3.2 million dollars.

The team still has a lot to do, with the contract status of Mitch Marner and improvements to the defence topping that list, but this is a big win for the Maple Leafs and their fan base.
