The Buffalo Sabres have signed Jeff Skinner to an eight year, $72 million contract.

The Buffalo Sabres announced that the organization has signed forward Jeff Skinner to an eight-year contract with an average annual value of $9 million.

Skinner led the team in goals with a career-high of 40 goals with the Sabres. His 40-goal season was the third-highest total for a player playing his first season with the organization.
