Must See Feel-Good Story: Humboldt Bronco Survivor Signs Deal With Massive Brand
Over a year after a tragic accident, Humboldt Bronco survivor, Ryan Straschnitzki has signed a deal with Adidas, as he pursues his new goal of representing Canada playing sledge hockey.
After being paralyzed from the neck down in a deadly bus crash over a year ago, Straschnitzki almost instantly decided he wanted to play for Team Canada. He knew he would not be able to stay away from hockey and that he was not going to let his disability stop him from achieving his goals. Adidas Canada reached out to Ryan and signed him to a sponsorship to help him towards his new dream of wearing the maple leaf.
Alongside getting new gear, Strashchnitzki also will participate in camps and training programs with Adidas to continue his sledge hockey development in hopes of one day representing his home country.
