NHL Trade Rumor: Minnesota Wild deals Jason Zucker to the Vancouver Canucks
According to TSN 1040's Mike Halford, the Vancouver Canucks have made multiple trade offers to acquire Minnesota's Jason Zucker, and no, Vancouver is not offering Brock Boeser.
In Halford's statement, he believes the Vancouver Canucks have made multiple offers to Minnesota to acquire 27-year old Zucker.
Vancouver GM Jim Benning believes Zucker would become a top line player on either Bo Horvat's second line or he would be with Elias Pettersson and Brock Boeser on the first.
Minnesota GM has asked about Jake Virtanen's availability along with either Ben Hutton or Troy Stetcher. Fenton also asked about netminder Thatcher Demko or Adam Gaudette.
Zucker has four years remaining on his contract that carries a $5.5 million cap hit that comes with a M-NMC, in which he can submit a 10-team no-trade list.
