According to TSN's Frank Seravalli, the Winnipeg Jets and the Carolina Hurricanes are working on a deal that would send Nikolaj Ehlers to the Carolina Hurricanes for a right-shooting defenceman.

Belief is Jets offered Nikolaj Ehlers to #Canes for one of their right-shooting defencemen, Seravalli stated on Twitter.

The Jets have been actively after Justin Faulk and Dougie Hamilton, who both are right shot defencemen. But have also demonstrated interest in Calvin de Hann, who is a left shooting defenceman.
