NHL Trade Rumor: Ryan Murrray to be dealt to the Chicago Blackhawks
According to The Athletic's Scott Powers, the Chicago Blackhawks and the Columbus Blue Jackets have had talks about a transaction that would send defenceman Ryan Murray Chicago bound.
Powers claims that league sources have indeed informed him that the Blackhawks have been in contact regarding Ryan Murray's availability, but things haven't moved that far along. Powers claims that the Blackhawks will either wait for the draft, a period where teams are more lenient when it comes to trades, or they will wait until Columbus' asking price descends.
The Blackhawks have only offered "secondary" forwards as of now, which won't get a deal done right away, but since they possess the 3rd overall pick in this year's upcoming draft, they could either draft of trade for a Top-4 defenceman that they've been looking for along with some sweeteners.
What would you offer to acquire Murray's rights?
