Report: Leafs to let Marner walk if he signs an offer sheet

Toronto Maple Leafs GM Kyle Dubas stated that he would consider letting his top restricted free agent and back-to-back season leading scorer, Mitch Marner, walk if he was to sign an offer sheet by another team.

We're at the point now, we can speak openly about it, it would really depend, Dubas said following the GM meetings on Thursday. If there were an offer sheet we'd look at what they are and what the compensation is for our team and make the decision.
If Marner signs an offer sheet with an AAV above 10.568 million, the Maple Leafs would receive four 1st round-picks.

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Maple Leafs have told Marner that if he wants Matthews money, which is $11 million per year, he would have to sign to a long-term contract of 8-years with the organization. A thing that Marner's camp does not want at the moment.

Things are getting spicy, what are your thoughts, should the Leafs sign Marner to his asking price?
